My Review:
I don't think I've read anything by Nicole Simone so far, but I have to say that I quite enjoyed this story. And I am a huge fan of rockstar romances and second chances so it was an easy decision to pick it. The story is interesting even if it is missing pretty much any suspense (which is my go to type of romance) and the characters are quite entertaining.

Luke is not exactly the typical rockstar. Considering that his band mates call him the virgin, you can imagine that he is not the normal bad boy of rock. Yeah, he did have a period of heavy drinking but he was never a manwhore. And his looks definitely don't scream bad boy rockstar. Though, that doesn't mean that he is not hot. On the contrary, he is pantie melting with his baby blues ;) But he is also romantic and tender and ready to fight for the chance to correct the biggest mistake in his life - leaving the only woman he ever loved and their unborn child behind. Well, you can imagine that that's nothing easily forgiven but he definitely knows his way around an apology and if nothing else, he is also persistent. And ultimately he also takes the right decision with regards to his career.

Marlene is quite a sweet character even if her behavior was frustrating at times. Though, in a way I do understand her considering how badly her heart was broken by the love of her life. And in any case she always had to consider also her adorable daughter. Thankfully, in the end everything worked out with a HEA ending ;)

In a few words, this was a quite good rockstar romance. So if you are a fan of those, you would definitely want to read the book. I enjoyed it, even if it wasn't the best book I've read recently. And I would definitely check the author's other books.
